This Little Beauty

This little beauty was just accept in a national show in Humboldt, TN. The show is called Conductivity: The many faces of Copper in Ceramics. The piece I got in the show is unglazed on the outside with a copper green glaze inside- Shaner Oribe. The piece is a dessert bowl.

Kickstarter pledges are at 5%

Thanks you so much for going to Kickstarter .com and pledging thousands of dollars for a new studio/retail space for a year. I really appreciate it and with more of the same I should be able to have a pottery up and running in no time. Without you this wouldn’t be possible. Thanks again.

I Kicked off my Kickstarter just 2 days ago and several people have already signed up to fund my pottery. I hope to receive enough money to rent a retail space and studio space in Richmond, VA plus enough clay and glaze materials for the year.

I have asked for $100,000 which will cover my expenses plus my salary for a year and taxes and legal help to run the business. I picked a year time as it is the most difficult time for any budding business to start and maintain.

Carytown or Short Pump are two shopping districts in the Richmond, VA area and I hope to find a space there this fall to make pottery and sell pottery.

All your help is much appreciated,

-Matt

Website update

Oh yeah, as soon as I figure out about widgits and plugins I’ll be adding more features to this website. I was trying to put a footer widgit on my store and connect it to Paypal, but I’m still in the trial stages, so I haven’t saved those changes, but I’m close.

Hello world!

Yes, I have remade my webpage to prepare for my Kickstarter campaign. The store will be up soon with more elegant, yet playful pottery. I’ve made up 4 more colors, so prepare yourself for more bright imagery.
